Community Events
To adapt to the impacts of a changing climate, the City has created a community-driven climate adaptation strategy called Climate Ready Oʻahu that outlines actions for adapting to sea-level rise, increasing temperatures, and other climate hazards. The draft Strategy was released November 1, with public comment closing December 1. While the in-person and live virtual events have concluded, you can view a recording of the Virtual Open House below.

Below are a series of previous in-person and virtual community events for Climate Ready O‘ahu. From open houses to community workshops, we engaged hundreds of local community members and received over 1,000 takeaways that informed the creation of Climate Ready O‘ahu.
