Previous Community Workshops

From March through May of 2022, the Resilience Office hosted six community engagement workshops. To ensure the Climate Ready Oʻahu would better reflect needs and perspectives of frontline communities that had been underrepresented in previous engagement efforts, we designed an outreach campaign in partnership with organizations based in these communities. Mālama Learning Center acted as our core partner to connect the City with other community organizations to host the workshops. We are grateful to our community partners for helping to design a more equitable community engagement initiative. Learn more about this initiative below!

The Climate Ready O'ahu community workshops were featured by our community partner, Mālama Learning Center, in their television program, Outside Hawaiʻi, on July 24, 2022.
